Opportunities for 5G technology

Dr. Michael Björn, Head of Research Agenda, Ericsson Consumer & IndustryLab, talks about the role of the 5G network in the intelligent connected machine trend. Björn points out that: Notably, Ericsson one of the pioneer 5G technology providers expects the technology to be widespread by 2030. Currently, worldwide 5G connections are expected to grow 20 times to 2.7 billion by 2025.
